In this position... We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Program Engineer to lead and support our manufacturing or engineering programs. This position provides a great opportunity to lead Ford Motor Company's journey to electrification within the Battery Manufacturing Engineering (BME) organization. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects stay on track, within budget, and meet critical deadlines. You will serve as a technical lead and central point of contact for program information, driving effective communication and implementing timely issue resolution across cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, is adept at learning new systems, and possesses strong skills in managing cost, timing, and issue resolution to get to the source of problems. This role specifically supports the battery manufacturing engineering team in their delivery of programs on time and on budget. Program launches in Marshall, MI through 2026 and 2027 will require travel and onsite work in the facility as the launch approaches. Prior to the installation and launch of the program, the team works out of the Ford Engineering Laboratory alongside our PD partners in Dearborn.
