We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner at Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor located near Silverdale, Washington to provide support to Navy and Lockheed Martin Customers for sustainment of Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM). In this role, you will utilize various databases and sources to create shop and production orders from the approved sources, to enable Missile Body Operations to perform required tasks. Perform quality checks on planning products and appropriately route for approval. Work will be performed under strict deadlines with high levels of quality required. Be an active contributor in Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives, and champion process improvements. Coordinate with other internal and external customers to ensure production needs are met. May require overtime support on non-standard work days, depending on production schedule, and execution of other duties as assigned. Travel may be required (<5%). Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • 1 year combined experience using Manufacturing Execution System (i.e. SAP, MAP, and IMPS)
  • 2 years experience working in a production environment
  • Experience meeting schedule deadlines despite multiple competing priorities
  • Microsoft Office Experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
