About The Position

Standard Iron has been in the Contract Manufacturing business for over 90 years! We are seeking a qualified candidate as a Production Supervisor who shares our Core Values of Commitment to People, Commitment to Customers, and Commitment to Action. 1st Shift: Mon. - Thurs: 6A- 4:30P & Fri: 6A-11A This position is responsible for managing the Robotic Welding, Paint & Assembly production areas while ensuring that employees reporting to you produce products of high quality in an efficient manner so customer delivery requirements can be met. The Production Supervisor will always lead with safety and is responsible for ensuring that direct reports follow safety protocols. Additionally, this position will work with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering to take corrective action on quality problems. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor will assume responsibility and accountability for production results in terms of methods, quality, and efficiency of production. They will be responsible for building to production schedules and delivery dates as directed by Production Control and ensure that all paperwork is correctly processed through the system.

Requirements

  • Must have a 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent manufacturing powder coat paint experience.
  • Must have a good understanding of production control systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior supervisory experience required
