About The Position

Creature is seeking a sharp, systems-minded Procurement Operations Manager to lead vendor qualification, sourcing execution, and prefab supply chain coordination across our integrated building platform. This role is core to advancing our Design, Manufacture, Construct (DMC) model—building the infrastructure and accountability to ensure that manufactured components arrive on time, on quality, and at scale. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator. You will manage the pipeline of Tier 1 vendors and fabricators, lead performance assessments, and collaborate deeply with our Design team to embed constructability, sequencing, and manufacturability thinking at the front end of projects. You’ll also play a critical role in root cause resolution and vendor development, ensuring our supply chain grows alongside our platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in procurement, operations, or supply chain—preferably in construction, modular, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience evaluating vendors and managing supplier performance.
  • Familiarity with prefab and modular building strategies, volumetric assemblies, and MEP integration.
  • Strong systems thinker with experience in ERP/Procore/PowerBI or equivalent supply chain tools.
  • Comfortable in both field environments and cross-functional meetings with Design, Field Ops, and Manufacturing.
  • Excellent communicator who brings structure, urgency, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessment and onboarding of Tier 1 suppliers for manufactured components and volumetric assemblies.
  • Define and maintain KPIs across delivery, quality, and scalability, integrating with Creature’s Production System.
  • Perform regular vendor audits and capacity checks, ensuring risk is surfaced early and proactively managed.
  • Oversee sourcing strategy, bid review, and scope validation for prefabricated assemblies.
  • Ensure price, performance, and delivery commitments are locked before fabrication begins.
  • Track milestone delivery performance and coordinate escalation when commitments are at risk.
  • Partner with the Design team to ensure constructability and modular design intent align with vendor capabilities.
  • Contribute to drawing reviews, material selections, and Kit of Parts definitions for repeatability and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Coordinate within Manufacturing Team for clear and defined Work Instructions for install of Kit of Parts
  • Lead root cause analysis and Corrective Action plans with underperforming suppliers.
  • Build and maintain vendor scorecards and support make/buy decisions using data.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Field to close the loop on cost, schedule, and install productivity outcomes.

Benefits

  • We are building something different. A fully integrated platform that reduces friction, increases quality, and delivers outcomes that make a difference—for healthcare providers, communities, and our people. This role is a chance to shape that future from the inside out.
