Teal Drones, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Cat Holdings, is looking to fill an immediate position as a full-time Manufacturing Process Engineer. Teal is a rapidly growing technology company focused on creating world-class system solutions serving a broad range of applications forth design and development of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS drones) for use in defense, public safety, and other government security organizations The Manufacturing Process Engineer designs, optimizes, and implements manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role is responsible for the development of the manufacturing process and workflows. This includes the setting up of manufacturing workflow, workstations and equipment within the company manufacturing environment. They evaluate the manufacturing processes and implement improvements that may include fabrication methods, assembly tooling, and material movement. They will be able to implement lean manufacturing tools to improve the manufacturing processes. They continue to evaluate processes to verify that they comply with safety and quality standards. They will develop standardized operating instructions and implement new procedures and testing to drive continual improvement. The Manufacturing Process Engineer works closely with technical team leaders, production supervisors, and engineers to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance product quality. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to production schedules, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.
