Position Overview: The Manufacturing Process Engineer plays a critical role in designing, optimizing, and sustaining efficient manufacturing systems within a DC motor and air-moving assembly environment. Guided by Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost principles, this role applies Lean Manufacturing, 80/20, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve production efficiency, reduce scrap, and support new product introductions. As a technical expert, the Process Engineer collaborates cross‑functionally to design robust production lines, balance workflows, implement plant layout changes, and lead cost‑reduction initiatives. The role also supports customer corrective actions, maintains engineering documentation, and ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and company health and safety standards. This position leverages global resources and multidisciplinary teamwork to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the facility. Key Responsibilities: Improve work methods and line balance. Design production lines to meet demand requirements based on comparative time studies, seeking robust processes. Responsible for coordinating the administration and maintenance of the Scrap documentation of the plant, as well as the analysis of the causes to reduce it. Responsible for coordinating the manufacture of new models in the production area. Coordinate the administration of samples that are required by engineering of design, give feedback to design when is applicable. Support to Customer Service through visits to their sites may be required. Be an active part in multidisciplinary groups for rapid response the Customer Corrective Actions in alignment of the company values. Participate in overall cost reduction projects. Preparation of deviations based on the established procedure. Realization of engineering metrics (Scrap, Productivity, etc.) Control and updating of engineering documents (JIB’s, AMEF’S, Flow Diagram) Comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard Comply with the responsibilities of the health and safety policies, procedures and work instructions applicable to your position and ensure compliance with these by the personnel under your charge (where applicable)
