About The Position

Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler II Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Planner to join our team. The Manufacturing Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to achieve targets for revenue attainment, lead times, and back orders. They will ensure efficient utilization of resources, and maintain accurate inventory levels. The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of production planning processes and have a proven track record of meeting production targets while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Highschool Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Production Planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, specifically Baan and SAP, to handle and update production data.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Diligent with a high level of accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills enabling meeting deadlines and delivering results.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and logistics to ensure timely and efficient production and delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders or production orders to replenish stock as needed.
  • Use sophisticated Excel skills to analyze and interpret production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any production-related issues or bottlenecks to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, such as cycle time, throughput, and capacity utilization, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate and timely release of production plans and bills of materials.
