This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of engineers and specialists, Manufacturing Planners will be responsible for developing and supporting New Glenn’s Subassembly Manufacturing. You will provide shipside support on the manufacturing floor to subassembly, structures, and/or engine preparation across the New Glenn vehicle, with both expendable and reusable materials. Throughout the manufacturing process, you will be responsible in identifying, developing, and deploying methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequences and schedules. You will support the authoring and redlining of work orders, management of non-conformances, and provide continuous improvement of work orders through close-out reviews and updating of templates.
