About The Position

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our aircraft maintenance processes. You will be responsible for adhering to general work requirements, researching and administering special programs, and working closely with customers to clarify requirements and meet their expectations. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of efficient project flow charts and other management tools, supporting aircraft visits and ensuring resource availability. You will also be involved in creating logical and efficient aircraft work packages, attending customer debriefs, inputting data into systems, and maintaining technical information specific to aircraft models.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills necessary for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, project management, email, and web-based applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to prioritize and coordinate workloads in a dynamic, multi-project setting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Capability to analyze risks and make sound business decisions.
  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, proposal writing, and/or invoice analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Pivotal and tooling.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to general work requirements and protocols.
  • Research and administer special programs such as warranty, Smart Parts, and open delivery items.
  • Collaborate with customers to clarify requirements and ensure their expectations are met.
  • Assist in creating project flow charts and management tools to support aircraft visits.
  • Determine resource availability, coordinating with resource providers on potential schedule impacts.
  • Create logical and efficient aircraft work packages, identifying material, tooling, and manpower needs.
  • Attend customer debriefs or pre-induct meetings prior to aircraft arrival when required.
  • Input necessary data into relevant systems.
  • Maintain and develop technical information specific to aircraft models, including airframe, engine, avionics, and paint/interior.
  • Communicate and coordinate with departments such as Maintenance, Material Support, Labs, Vendors, and Line Service to gather work package data for invoicing.
