Manufacturing Operations Manager
About The Position
The Manufacturing Operations Manager reports to the President and has four direct reports. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations that have a high volume of short run projects, ensuring that operational objectives are met in alignment with company standards. The Manufacturing Operations Manager has overall accountability for all manufacturing departments, as well as shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate for this position is a manufacturing leader who is comfortable with a high volume of short-run projects and a people person who thrives on building strong relationships with customers, co-workers, direct reports, and production employees.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a team of department managers to ensure company goals are met.
- Assist the team with scheduling production orders and priorities.
- Coordinate teamwork between production departments.
- Conduct weekly production meetings with other departments to update status on current projects.
- Identifying machine and equipment needs.
- Working with the Safety Coordinator and Quality Manager to ensure all manufacturing requirements are met.
