About The Position

Serve as the bridge between supply planning and production, ensuring seamless on-time execution and optimal material flow throughout the manufacturing value stream.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
3 years experience in manufacturing operations (medical device operations preferable)
3 years experience in inventory control and MRP preferred
Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Self-starter, well organized and able to make sound decisions from proper analysis of data.
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent Communication Skills (verbal & written)
Knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001:13485 preferred

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Follow all SOPs for the manufacturing area; document or escalate product/process non-conformances as required
Maintain and manage appropriate inventory levels within the manufacturing department, with attention to total inventory value and age
Ensure daily customer demand is met by keeping MRP due dates accurate and prioritizing expedited product to the floor
Release and issue daily work orders in coordination with the Supply Planning team
Evaluate supply risks and production capacity imbalances; develop and execute action plans with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk
Partner with Supply Planning to close performance gaps, resolve complex planning and communication challenges, and drive continuous improvement
Support line balancing and efficiency initiatives across manufacturing production
Train manufacturing employees on material handling processes as needed
Apply the Quality System and relevant Federal and International Standards
Support team members, cross-functional colleagues, and sales personnel as needed
