About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our Propulsion team located in Everett, Washington. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our Propulsion team as a key component in advancing our automation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of automation technologies and methodologies, playing a crucial role in enhancing our production processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
  • 1+ years of experience advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet organizational goals
  • Ability to optimize organizational structure and operating rhythm to meet strategic goals
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading inclusive teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives, collaborating cross functionally and influencing positive change

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
