Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND (10) ten years of Engineering , Operations Management, and/or Business Administration, Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from AND (16) sixteen years of Engineering, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration, Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • (5) five years of managing a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing management responsibility of all production activities in the plant.
  • Accountable for driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and other key operational metrics
  • Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees
  • Develops and mentors all levels of the production supervision staff.
  • Drives operator engagement throughout the facility and encourages problem solving at all levels of the organization
  • Own the production line output and develop execution & continuous improvement strategies to achieve high production rates
  • Works to continuously enforce and improve daily tier processes, daily accountability boards, training, standard work, visual management and coaching.
  • Encourages plantwide participation in continuous improvement suggestion activities
