About The Position

Manufacturing Manager – B-52 CERP Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) Operations team in San Antonio, TX! Position Responsibilities: Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors Leads, develops and motivates employees Manages employees performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines Supports the development and execution of integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing 3+ years of experience in leadership, leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in leading large scale / organizational change Boeing Problem Solving Model Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership, leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
  • 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
