About The Position

We’re looking for a Maintenance Utilities Specialist to support our state-of-the-art dairy production facility. In this role, you’ll be a part of the team that ensures that our utilities and essential plant systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably helping us deliver high-quality dairy products every day.

Requirements

  • Experience in utilities maintenance within food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing (dairy a plus!).
  • Strong knowledge of boilers, compressed air systems, and industrial utilities.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, and work safely in a regulated environment.
  • A proactive, detail-focused mindset with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred — or equivalent years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and operations, with strong focus on separators, boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and wastewater treatment.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical principles, separation processes, boiler operations, and wastewater treatment technologies.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations, safety requirements, and environmental standards.
  • Proven ability to foster a positive work culture and encourage collaboration among staff.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and maintain boilers, compressors, & wastewater treatment equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational performance.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, system testing, and ensure regulatory compliance across utilities.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support smooth daily operations.
  • Respond quickly to utility-related issues and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
