Job Summary: The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians, coordinates preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshoots equipment issues, and partners with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve manufacturing performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • 1–3+ years of maintenance team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate maintenance technicians and mechanics.
  • Assign daily work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure proper functioning of production lines, conveyors, motors, PLCs, robotics, and facility systems (HVAC, utilities, etc.).
  • Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Schedule contractors and vendors for specialized work when required.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities follow OSHA, ISO, and all relevant compliance standards.
  • Maintain documentation for safety inspections and compliance audits.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are stocked.
  • Monitor maintenance expenses and assist with annual budget planning.
  • Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.
