About The Position

The purpose of this position is giving direction and assisting employees to keep the production process flowing and producing quality product. This person should be fully capable and knowledgeable in all aspects of the department including every step of the process and all equipment and paperwork associated with it. This is a 3rd shift position working 10pm - 6:30am Monday-Friday with overtime available.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years in food manufacturing
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
HACCP
Able to run all of the equipment and processes
Direction setting for employees
Ability to Train Effectively
High attention to detail
Able to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

Operation, Setup, and Full understanding of all production Equipment and Processes
Ensuring accurate completion of all documentation associated with the Department
Training and Coaching of Production Personnel
Maintaining Communication with the Management team regarding issues and progress in the Department and sending out daily Shift Reports
Ensuring proper Sanitation of the entire Department and associated documentation
Adhering to all company policies and procedures
Ensuring Production Employees are adhering to all company policies and procedures
Ensuring that Employees are working safely and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Assisting production employees when needed
Maintain product segregation and lot/batch management and ensuring proper labeling of products
Understand, Ensure, and safely perform proper cleaning procedures, following SSOP guidelines
Other relevant duties as trained and assigned by management
