About The Position

Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry located in South Milwaukee, WI, is currently seeking Manufacturing Laborers/Sorters to join our 2nd shift. In this role you will sort through and check quality of metal castings. The rate of pay is $21.35/hour plus a $.75/hour shift differential. Great opportunities for growth! Some of the benefits for this position include overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to stand on feet for long periods, strength in arms and legs
Ability to work in a hot environment

Responsibilities

Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
Identify castings by type, perform a quality check and sort
Use tooling equipment and hammer to break off gating
Observe all company rules and regulations
