About The Position

The Manufacturing Inventory & Processes Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all inventory control activities, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient flow of materials throughout production. This role serves as a critical link between procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams to maintain accurate inventory levels, streamline workflows, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing inventory management, production operations, or process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica or similar).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in high‑volume or complex manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor raw materials, WIP (work‑in‑progress), and finished goods inventory.
  • Lead cycle counts, full physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.
  • Analyze inventory trends and variances; develop corrective action plans to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with procurement to forecast materials requirements and optimize reorder points.
  • Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop standardized work procedures, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Partner with production supervisors and engineering to refine process flows and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Implement best practices for material movement, staging, and replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems; ensure proper BOM accuracy and transaction integrity.
  • Generate regular KPI reports (inventory accuracy, turns, shrinkage, downtime, waste, etc.).
  • Use data analytics to support decision‑making and process improvements.
  • Ensure all inventory and process documentation is updated and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as the liaison between operations, warehouse, purchasing, logistics, finance, and quality teams.
  • Train employees on inventory processes, material handling procedures, and system use.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
