About The Position

The Manufacturing Inventory & Processes Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all inventory control activities, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient flow of materials throughout production. This role serves as a critical link between procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams to maintain accurate inventory levels, streamline workflows, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in manufacturing inventory management, production operations, or process improvement.
Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica or similar).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Experience in high‑volume or complex manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
Monitor raw materials, WIP (work‑in‑progress), and finished goods inventory.
Lead cycle counts, full physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.
Analyze inventory trends and variances; develop corrective action plans to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Collaborate with procurement to forecast materials requirements and optimize reorder points.
Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop standardized work procedures, workflows, and process documentation.
Partner with production supervisors and engineering to refine process flows and reduce bottlenecks.
Implement best practices for material movement, staging, and replenishment.
Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems; ensure proper BOM accuracy and transaction integrity.
Generate regular KPI reports (inventory accuracy, turns, shrinkage, downtime, waste, etc.).
Use data analytics to support decision‑making and process improvements.
Ensure all inventory and process documentation is updated and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Serve as the liaison between operations, warehouse, purchasing, logistics, finance, and quality teams.
Train employees on inventory processes, material handling procedures, and system use.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
