Your Mission as a Process Engineering Rockstar You’ll be the go-to champion for Continuous Improvement, helping us boost efficiency, reduce variation, and build smarter manufacturing processes across the plant. Your work directly impacts quality, cost, customer satisfaction, and everyday life on the shop floor. Think of yourself as both: A problem-solving engineer A coach who helps the team win You’ll also support CapEx planning, equipment capacity upgrades, Lean events, and qualification of new tools/processes. Basically — you’ll have a full toolbox and plenty of room to shine.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM and CNC equipment
  • Experience improving manufacturing processes (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong skills with Lean Tools (8D, 5 Why, DMAIC, A3)
  • Excellent communication, analytical ability, and project management skills
  • Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green card Holder) due to ITAR compliance.
  • A knack for problem-solving and working well with teams

Responsibilities

  • Take daily Gemba walks to connect with the team and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, Quality, Lean, and HR to level-up processes across the plant.
  • Support safety, health, and environmental compliance.
  • Help reduce NCMs, CARs, rework, and OTD issues by identifying patterns and preventing repeat problems.
  • Optimize processes to cut cycle time, reduce material usage, and improve consistency.
  • Document, measure, and dollarize improvement ideas.
  • Improve work orders and update Engineering Master documentation.
  • Create new standards and visual work instructions — then train the team.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, materials, and processes like a pro.
  • Assist with new equipment installations and operator training.
  • Partner with Development Engineering to bring new products into production.
