About The Position

We are seeking a summer (May-August 2026) Manufacturing Intern at our Yadkinville, NC plant location. What will the Manufacturing Intern do at Unifi? As a Manufacturing Intern, you will work on a project focused on optimizing the use of the Texturamat in DTY yarn testing. This includes: Characterizing Texturamat performance in defect detection Supporting monitoring and control of yarn properties such as crimp, bulk, and shrinkage Analyzing data and providing insights to improve product quality and process efficiency Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment Am I qualified? Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field of study
  • Available May-August 2026 (subject to school calendar)
  • Knowledgeable or experience with textiles
  • Strong organizational skills, analytics and reporting experience, attention to details, and a natural problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
