About The Position

Responsible for operating Fette High Speed Tableting Press and other related equipment in the production process. Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available. - Operate and monitor equipment resulting in efficient high output with highest quality tablet possible. Replenish materials as needed. - Visually inspect product, perform in-process testing and document results. - Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties. - Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years Machine operator experience required, preferably on other tableting presses such as Colton Vector, Stokes 238 and Manesty BB4.
  • Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making.
  • Punctual and reliable in work attendance
  • Flexible and able to manage others.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to speak English, bilingual speaker a plus.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read and write legibly in English.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in HAACP, Microbiology, Chemical Safety, Pest Control and Quality Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that products meet applicable quality standards. This includes inspection for quality during operation and performing all required sampling and testing.
  • Assure continuous and the smooth operation of the lines for required quality and quantity.
  • Meet all safety expectations including wearing the required personnel protective equipment and follow all safe practices.
  • Collect and analyze data using skills in applied math.
  • Utilize Redzone Factory Metrics software on company issued Apple iPads
  • Perform basic and routine maintenance activities.
  • Able to work outside normal scheduled hours and OT.
  • Use basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills etc.
  • Work in a team environment and flow to the work and assist others.
  • Cross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high-speed manufacturing.
  • Ensuring Documentation in relation to Processor Operation Logs are fully completed, signed and in compliance with Company Standard and Regulatory Requirements.
  • When out of compliance or standards do not meet assist supervisor in completion of Deviation Report detailing both short- and long-term corrective action steps.
  • Ensure full compliance with Companies Policies, Procedures, GMP’s, Code of Safe Practices and SOPs at all times.
  • Assists Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products and other miscellaneous duties.
  • Disassemble, clean/sanitize, and reassemble all required equipment.
  • Set up, maintain, monitor, adjust equipment, routine maintenance, troubleshoot as necessary to maintain product, quality, and safety specifications.
  • Communicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company’s “I Can Make a Difference" philosophies.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
