In this role, you will support manufacturing excellence by coordinating assembly operations, enabling consistent output, and ensuring quality and compliance on the production floor. You’ll help keep critical equipment and processes running smoothly, remove day-to-day obstacles for the team, and contribute directly to the reliable delivery of medical devices that improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent in engineering, business, or another technical field, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and training.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment coordinating day-to-day operations, workflow, and priorities.
  • Ability to oversee or lead individual contributors and support performance management.
  • Experience monitoring production metrics and ensuring compliance with quality, production control, inventory, and procurement expectations.
  • Basic to advanced computer and database management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and workload.
  • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance and calibration programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MS) preferred.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or team lead in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating, installing, and testing manufacturing equipment; ability to troubleshoot equipment issues at fixed workstations.
  • Experience documenting equipment service activities and modifications (e.g., Process Equipment Logs).
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing concepts and systems such as JIT, KANBAN, and pull systems.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial controls (PLCs and PC-based operator interfaces) and equipment control software.
  • Technical experience in electrical, mechanical, and control systems for equipment investigation, diagnosis, and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise individual contributors and conduct effective performance management.
  • Assist with coordinating Manufacturing Assembly processes to ensure delivery of consistent work products.
  • Monitor daily assembly line operations for quality, production control, inventory, and procurement compliance.
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Manufacturing Assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstations.
  • Ensure steady workflow and productivity, resolving operational decisions within the team.
  • Manage operational aspects including workflow, performance, and compliance, ensuring achievement of team goals.
  • Act on behalf of the Manufacturing Manager as required.
  • Demonstrate business insight and awareness of current and future business developments.
  • Document equipment service activities and modifications in Process Equipment Logs.
  • Coordinate installation and testing of process equipment.
