About The Position

We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Manufacturing Estimator who’s ready to hit the ground running. This isn’t just a desk job—it’s a dynamic role that connects engineering, fabrication, and customer relations. You’ll be at the heart of our quoting process, helping us deliver competitive pricing and accurate estimates that keep our operations sharp and our customers happy.

Requirements

• A motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in quoting and estimating within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and taper gauges
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
• High-level computer proficiency, including:
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• ERP systems (Epicor or similar)
• AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• General data entry and understanding of bill of materials

Responsibilities

• Preparing coating and finishing estimates based on customer drawings and square footage calculations
• Collaborating with the Fabrication Team to develop accurate quotes, including routing times and tooling costs
• Partnering with Finance and other departments to ensure quotes reflect real-time line capacity, speed, and throughput
• Gathering data from pricing matrices, system price lists, machine rates, and vendors to build comprehensive quotes
• Using our ERP system to review past job history for re-quotes
• Bringing a proactive, team-oriented attitude to every project
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the department moving forward
