  • Oversees the planning and implementation of manufacturing processes equipment, and tooling.
  • Develops and manages a portfolio of project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional leadership teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, in support of manufacturing processes improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the manufacturing process.
  • Develops and implements strategies to drive innovation and improve manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Identifies, recommends and leads improvement plans that impact site level operations.
  • Mentors and develops team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Provides feedback on individual performance to staff.
  • Ensures staff is trained appropriately to perform assigned work.
  • Optimizes the utilization of manufacturing systems and metrics.
  • Leads capital budgeting process and responsible for managing capital projects and capital spending.
  • Responsible for determining resource allocation and monitoring budget controls within team.
  • Communicates with Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers and/or internal customers to define product specifications and parameters.
  • Engages in cross-functional collaboration to deliver manufacturing solutions in partnership with Product Engineering, Program Design, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Bachelor Degree in related Engineering field with 5+ years of experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and ability to support new product development and/or complex problems faced by junior team members.
  • Applies strong project management skills to daily tasks to enhance efficiencies within team and/or plant activities.
  • Supports the development of strategic plans in coordination with sr. managers to manage and mitigate future challenges for the team and/or plant.
  • Effective in ensuring team/plant achieves consistent execution of manufacturing processes while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Strong ability to analyze process flows for enhancements to quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
  • Ability to determine engineering schedules and track completion against target dates.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate and execute a desired vision to other employees.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.
