SetPoint Medical’s Manufacturing Engineering interns will support a variety of manufacturing initiatives through hands-on project ownership and execution. Responsibilities include full ownership and completion of operational procedures, tooling, and TMV execution for Nikon and Keyence components. Interns will also build backup test stations and firmware update stations for both SetPoint and contract manufacturer inventory, implement new approaches to improve or streamline existing manufacturing processes, and support audits in NetSuite and Pilgrim to ensure calibration and preventive maintenance alignment across SetPoint and contract manufacturers. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to keep projects on track, and collaboration with other departments is key to meeting project requirements.
