About The Position

SetPoint Medical is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking intern to support the Manufacturing Engineering team. This role involves working on multiple projects including full ownership and completion of operational procedures, tooling, and TMV execution for Nikon/Keyence components. Building backup test stations and firmware update stations for both SetPoint and contract manufacturer inventory. Implementing a new approach to improve or streamline an existing manufacturing process; and supporting audits in NetSuite/Pilgrim to ensure calibration and preventive maintenance alignment across SetPoint and contract manufacturers. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to keep projects on track. Collaboration with other departments is also key to meeting project requirements. SetPoint Medical's interns contribute to groundbreaking projects and initiatives while getting hands-on experience for career development. This full-time position is in office, Monday - Friday, reporting to company headquarters in Valencia, CA.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Self-motivated and passionate for innovation and quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with and relate to all levels within the organization.
  • Team skills that demonstrate inclusivity, decisiveness, good facilitation, a process improvement orientation, and approachability.

Nice To Haves

  • SolidWorks Background/Excel is a plus
