About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op will support the engineering team in improving manufacturing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring product quality. This role is designed for college students pursuing a degree in engineering who want hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled fulltime in a Bachelor’s or Graduate program focused on Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sophomore or above class standing, graduating in December 2026 or later
  • Able to work 25 hours each week, year-round.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
  • Create and update work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance) to resolve process issues.
  • Assist in design and implementation of tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.
