Requirements
- Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SolidWorks or related CAD software
- HVAC experience
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Staunton, VA office
Responsibilities
- Work with an assigned engineer to research and analyze data related to the production of Daikin's products
- Design, improve, and test production processes or systems under the direction of the assigned engineer
- Work with assigned engineers to design and implement tools and processes intended to improve the quality and efficiency of the production operation
