Manufacturing/Product Engineering Intern

Metal Components is a start-to-finish sheet metal and tube processing company located in the South End of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Assist the engineering department through various projects, primarily with CAD work and implementing continuous improvement requests.
Requirements
- Drawing/CAD experience (Solidworks preferred)
- Second year of college or greater
- Currently enrolled at a four-year college or university in a curriculum including mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or other related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Create CAD models and drawings for manufacturing.
- Update part processes and drawings from continuous improvement requests.
- Assist engineers on new projects.
- Other tasks as assigned
