About The Position

Gain exposure to internal operations at Atalys, Rochester, NY, through hands on experience in manufacturing, engineering, and other areas of the company. This will be a full-time position during the spring with the opportunity for continued part-time work during the school year.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering, prefer Manufacturing or Mechanical.
  • Strong spatial and mechanical reasoning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and SolidWorks preferred.
  • Belief in safety and housekeeping standards and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in training opportunities that includes equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Assist in key engineering projects.
  • Present findings and lessons learned to management at the end of the internship.
  • Regularly interacts with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Purchasing, and others.
  • Occasional interaction with suppliers and customers.
