Role Purpose: The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will complete routine or entry-level engineering work and assist with engineering projects. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Leading and deploying best practices in the manufacturing processSupporting continuous improvement in various manufacturing processesReducing manufacturing costsImproving the flow of materialSetting up cycle timesPerforms other related duties as assigned At the conclusion of internship, the intern is required to prepare and present live to the management team a presentation on your experience at Humanetics. Other Significant Role Requirements: Basic Understanding of CADBasic understanding of engineering change process preferredBasic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred Education and/or Experience: 2-year technical degree required (or actively pursuing 4-year Engineering degree)Bachelor's degree (B.S.) technical preferred
