The Manufacturing Engineer is focused on moving the organization towards a common systems and processes philosophy within the manufacturing plant. This role is perfect for an individual has experience rolling out World Class Maintenance (WCM) programs. A vital member of the Operational Excellence Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. 50% time will be on the floor, 50% in the office. Adapt to varied daily tasks—problem-solving and reliability focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial Engineering or related field is required
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience of equipment maintenance experience
  • Proficiency to perform thorough root cause analysis: A3 Thinking and DMAIC problem-solving
  • Understanding and practical application of continuous improvement methods

  • World Class Maintenance (WCM) rollout experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Own World Class Maintenance (WCM) rollout for the plant
  • Own equipment reliability and downtime reduction initiatives
  • Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Support maintenance team with: Procuring parts and materials and vendor coordination for special repairs
  • Collaborate on Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
