About The Position

Engineer will own conveyance systems and potentially F&T contracts for a particular plant while managing tier 1 supplier for on time delivery and install. Travel may be required depending on location of plant they are dedicated to and/or supporting. Travel to Tier 1 supplier will be on a frequent basis to manage the cadence of build. Engineer will coordinate contractors, plant support & engineering to ensure success. Status reviews and communication to leadership will be expected on a regular basis. Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in Automotive Mfg, pref within Conveyors executions
• Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical

Responsibilities

• Manage Tier 1 suppliers for on time delivery of conveyance
• Manage construction supplier for on time install and delivery
• Coordinate plant skill trades, engineering & contractors during install phase of project
• Review technical AutoCAD layouts and CLLs
• Hold suppliers accountable to meeting GVOSS and BOE
• Continuously improve conveyor standards
• Develop statements of work for forward model programs
• Coordinate Protag buyoffs for conveyor systems in plant
