About The Position

We are seeking a team-oriented, results-driven Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. This individual will apply fundamental engineering principles and Lean manufacturing techniques to analyze operational data, identify opportunities for performance improvement, and implement systems that enhance cost efficiency and overall operational effectiveness through cross-functional teamwork.

Requirements

  • Strong belief in and commitment to team collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience applying Lean manufacturing tools and techniques in a production environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CAD software, ERP/MRP systems, and data analysis tools (such as Excel and Power BI). Comfortable with using manufacturing-related software for process modeling, documentation, and reporting. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, create digital work instructions, and support automation or control systems where applicable.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting daily objectives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, fostering open communication, sharing technical knowledge, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Improve manufacturing performance by analyzing and planning workflows, space utilization, and facility layout.
  • Ensure product and process quality by designing testing methods, evaluating finished-product capabilities, and establishing quality standards.
  • Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives using tools such as 5S, SMED, Kanban, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate data and configurations in manufacturing/shop floor control systems.
  • Create and update detailed process documentation, operator instructions, and standardized work procedures.
  • Support training of production staff on equipment, work instructions, and standardized processes.
  • Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support production processes, ensuring they are properly tracked, validated, and maintained.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles during new product introduction and process development.
