Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
Ability to work onsite daily in a hands-on environment
Strong initiative and willingness to learn
Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Comfortable working in manufacturing or industrial settings
Internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or process improvement
Exposure to CAD tools, basic troubleshooting, or lean/continuous improvement concepts
Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day manufacturing or mechanical engineering tasks across production, quality, and process improvement
Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
Participate in equipment setup, testing, validation, or maintenance tasks as needed
Collect data, document findings, and contribute to process updates or standard work
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals
Perform hands-on work on the production floor to understand processes and drive improvements
Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
Contribute to projects that impact communities in Horace, West Fargo, Harwood, Moorhead, and Dilworth, and the greater Fargo, ND metro
