JOB SUMMARY: The manufacturing engineer position is responsible for maintaining and improvement of manual to highly automated assembly and test equipment in a predominately automotive emission control component manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as in a team-based environment.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other applicable field of Engineering
3-6 years experience in automation or manufacturing engineering
Proficient with MS Office products
Proficient in CAD, including 2D and 3D modeling
Experience in PLC, robotics or other machine control systems
Strong problem-solving skills, including knowledge of FMEA & SPC
Project management skills, including strong communication and collaboration with cross functional teams
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
