Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years in manufacturing engineering preferred
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to lead teams
• Experience with Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Passion for driving results and making impactful improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital equipment projects from concept to implementation
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools like Value Stream Mapping
• Conduct time studies and develop labor standards and SOPs
• Optimize workflows, layouts, and space utilization for efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement solutions
• Support safety initiatives through ergonomic assessments and OSHA compliance
• Provide technical support for new products and design-for-manufacturing efforts
• Deliver daily floor support and contribute to strategic manufacturing plans
