About The Position

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and improvement of mechanical components, systems, and equipment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • 2–7 years of experience in mechanical or design engineering (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
  • Experience with product design, equipment design, or tooling/fixture design
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards
  • Ability to perform basic stress, thermal, and motion analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through production
  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection to ensure performance, safety, and durability
  • Support prototyping, testing, validation, and design verification activities
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, assembly, and cost efficiency
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot design, manufacturing, or field issues and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, specifications, and change requests
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change processes
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors on component design, sourcing, and technical requirements as needed
