About The Position

In this role you will analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost You will design, implement, and refine production workflows, tooling, and fixtures to support lean manufacturing principles Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve process issues You will develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and equipment specifications Support the integration and programming of CNC machines and metal fabrication equipment and recommend new technologies or equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities Recommend process and operational changes to overcome process issues, avoid deviations, and improve productivity by analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing operations Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities

Requirements

  • You will possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • You must have 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a metalworking environment
  • You should have an understanding of the properties, behavior, and selection of materials to choose the best option for a specific application's stress, temperature, and environment
  • You have strong project management abilities, experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources to bring projects from concept through to completion
  • You are required to have strong technical skills and have the ability to work across all levels in the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with C/C++ for embedded systems development and real-time control of mechanical hardware preferred
