Analyze material movements and process flows to optimize layout, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. Perform capacity analysis and utilize simulation tools to assess and improve manufacturing processes and material handling. Identify process bottlenecks and develop/implement innovative solutions to maximize throughput. Lead Kaizen/continuous improvement initiatives and train shop floor personnel on new processes and standards. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process capability, yield, cycle time, and product quality. Develop, update, and implement process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Technology to integrate new products and technologies into operations, providing feedback and capturing lessons learned. Lead and participate in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis related to manufacturing issues. Ensure consistent application of best practices and adherence to engineering specifications. Support cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality assurance projects. Implement process improvements to achieve manufacturing excellence in areas such as process yield (e.g. First Pass Yield, Rolled Throughput Yield), cycle time reduction and productivity. Provide shop floor feedback on product design and manufacturability issues to Engineering and DFMs (e.g. through the use of Engineering Change Requests - ECRs). Evaluates and benchmarks best-in-class manufacturing techniques for Schlumberger and OEM products. Establishes pilot testing and scale up plan for manufacturing technology implementation. Works with Manufacturing and Engineering Métiers and other stakeholders during prove-out testing of processes.
