Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred) from four-year college or university, one to three years related engineering experience and/or training.
  • Experience with machine motion control systems, mechanics, electronics and software.
  • Mechanical skills and aptitude a plus. (Welding, machining, understanding of metallurgy)
  • Knowledge of control drives and PLC’s, relay and sensor types.
  • Project management and Lean Manufacturing experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
  • Liaises with other stakeholders in order to provide professional support and advice
  • Strives for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area
  • Monitors KPIs for engineering processes
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
