Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer within the Aeronautics Business Area. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production. This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with shop floor personnel to support production of our various platforms. Strong communication skills - written and verbal - are required to successfully interface with various departments within Aero. Must be a US Citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
