Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer within the Aeronautics Business Area. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production. This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with shop floor personnel to support production of our various platforms. Requirements

  • BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Experience as an engineer
  • Experience with corrective action and/or floor support
  • Experience reading engineering blueprints and/or tool designs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process optimization &/or efficiency
  • Knowledge of F-35 production line practices and requirements
  • F-35 Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Experience working in QADS, SFM, SAP, CAPP, and PDM
  • Expertise supporting production on non-standard repair work
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Experience with tooling and/or tool design concepts
