Job Summary: We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of prime product machine assembly processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations. In this role, you will develop and refine assembly processes, design material handling and lifting solutions, create clear operator instructions, and drive successful new product introductions. You will be accountable for optimizing assembly methods, implementing robust solutions that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and champion process innovation to deliver sustainable improvements and long-term operational excellence

Requirements

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Judgment: Ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor an entire manufacturing process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing process development and problem-solving methodologies (six Sigma, Root cause analysis, FMEA)
  • A strong understanding / working knowledge of Microsoft O/S and related applications
  • Skilled in Teamcenter, Creo and other visualization software tools

Responsibilities

  • Drives continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to equipment, processes, and production systems.
  • Monitors equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problems.
  • Executes engineering change notices, assesses gaps in parts or processes, and champions the implementation of all required changes to maintain production.
  • Provides engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
