This role provides engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance while planning, executing, and sustaining multi-project initiatives that improve manufacturing performance, asset reliability, and facility capability. The position drives continuous improvement through structured project execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and data-driven decision making, while maintaining and upgrading facilities and equipment to support current and future business needs. Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of Howmet’s EHS values, policies, and principles across all engineering programs and projects. Ensure all assigned projects and programs comply with department, facility, Corporate, and Regulatory EH&S requirements. Incorporate safety, ergonomics, and environmental considerations into equipment design, project plans, and risk assessments. Wear all required personal protective equipment. Report all job-related illnesses and injuries per employee handbook. Escalate safety, health, and environmental concerns in a timely manner. Attend and support all required EH&S training. Data-informed decision maker – defines success metrics, tracks performance, and adjusts execution based on quantitative feedback and root-cause analysis. Prioritized execution – manages competing priorities and unplanned events while maintaining focus on critical program objectives. Relationship builder – partners across shifts and functions; serves as a liaison between the shop floor and engineering; maintains awareness of operational realities and workforce needs.
