Key Responsibilities: - Provide daily manufacturing engineering support to production, including troubleshooting of process, quality, and equipment issues - Develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes and standard work for metal fabrication and assembly operations - Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and setup sheets - Support new product introductions, design for manufacturability reviews, and feasibility assessments - Lead or support root cause and corrective action activities to address production and quality issues - Support sample builds, process trials, and engineering changes to validate and improve manufacturing processes - Assist with capacity analysis, costing, and support of capital equipment projects - Improve manufacturing layouts, material flow, ergonomics, tooling, and fixtures - Collaborate cross-functionally to support training, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline - Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting metal fabrication or assembly processes -Working knowledge of metalworking processes and materials - Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with punching, forming, welding, tube bending, tube expansion, and sheet metal fabrication - Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, ERP systems (QAD preferred), and root cause methodologies - Experience supporting capital equipment projects and lean manufacturing initiatives - Familiarity with gas combustion products, heat exchangers, or similar thermal/mechanical systems
