About The Position

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer whose primary duties will be to support and improve manufacturing processes for existing and new products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production operations. This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:30AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only

Requirements

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proficiency in manufacturing process design and optimization
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Knowledge of ECN processes and documentation control
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and common office software

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RF Components and documentation process is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Determine tools, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, and other new or special equipment required for production.
  • Select appropriate RF connectors and cables carefully considering performance requirements, existing stock and tooling, as well as cost.
  • Provide technical assistance to assembly and production test personnel.
  • Assist in problem resolution by working with engineering staff to resolve design-level problems and with production personnel to resolve unit-specific issues.
  • Update bills of material, product documentation, assembly and test instructions via ECN process as needed.
  • Enhance and improve existing products and assist with the release of new products; work with project stakeholders to select, cost, and document materials for engineering projects.
  • Release, update, and maintain product specification sheets as needed for Production and Marketing purposes.
  • Develop, release, update, and maintain user documentation – user guides, quick start guides, connection schematics, and other supporting product information as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned. May work in other manufacturing departments as needed.
