About The Position

The Engineering Technician works with engineering and production to develop and document capable manufacturing methods utilizing machines, materials, and workforce to improve the manufacturing of STULZ Air Technology Systems products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate process control objectives and activities to resolve production problems and minimize cost Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency Study operations sequence, material flow, cell layouts, and project information to identify and eliminate waste Develop manufacturing methods and labor utilization standards to eliminate time and material waste Develop and conduct training Develop and document standard work Perform physical changes to production layouts Design and contruct physical plant changes, jigs, and fixtures

Requirements

• Experience in production, optimization and training of manufacturing processes such as assembly, piping, and wiring
• Knowledge of technology and materials used in above processes
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP manufacturing software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Stong communication skills both written and verbal
• Self-motivated
• Ability to keep a positive attitude when under pressure
• High School diploma and 6 years experience in manufacturing
• Associates Degree in Engineering preferred and 4 years experience in related manufacturing processes

Nice To Haves

• Lean Manufacturing Green Belt or higher preferred
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
