About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the PAC-3 Munitions Acceleration team. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of a large ramp‑to‑rate effort with a heavy focus on supporting proposals, collaborating on make‑where decisions, and driving tooling from identifying the need to delivery and prove‑out. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for supporting proposals and coordinating the identification, design, procurement, delivery, and prove‑out of PAC‑3 tooling. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to travel domestic and/or international
  • Experience supporting the design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance

  • SAP application experience
  • Windchill / MPM Link Experience
  • Experience driving the implementation of automated manufacturing processes
  • Experience in design for manufacturing / design for automation
  • Experience creating and/or interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience managing project cost / schedule
  • Experience working with Government customers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams/projects across multiple locations
  • Demonstrated competency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (PTC Creo Preferred)
  • Proven ability to improve cost, schedule, quality and/or safety

Responsibilities

  • Generate Tangible Item Lists (TILs) and labor estimates to enable make‑where and make‑split decisions
  • Plan budgets and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities, and coordinate make‑site efforts
  • Write Tooling Action Requests (TARs), develop tooling Statements of Work (SOWs), and manage priorities for design, fabrication, and prove‑out
  • Consolidate complex tooling status data into actionable insight for leadership and USG customers
  • Drive cross‑site and supplier collaboration to ensure timely delivery and successful verification of tooling
