About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin The F 35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) hardware team in Fort Worth, TX is looking for an experienced Engineer to lead the technical execution of ground systems hardware development. The successful candidate will work independently in a fast paced setting, driving configuration management, hardware build up, system testing, and overall technical delivery. Hands on troubleshooting of hardware implementations—partnering closely with the software team—is a core responsibility. In addition, the Engineer will support the MPE Hardware team members maintain, redesign, and improve legacy hardware components. What’s In It For You: 3 day weekends every weekend! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or closely related field
  • Strong collaborative skills; comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience participating in or leading System Engineering Technical Reviews.
  • Proven ability to manage project cost, schedule, and scope.
  • Experience in supplier management, hardware development, and product life cycle management.
  • Previous experience working in a customer facing role
  • Familiarity with NSA Type 1 Certification processes for hardware.
  • Knowledge of the National Cross Domain Solution Management Office (NCDSMO) “Raise the Bar” certification process.
  • Hands on experience with ground systems hardware in an integrated mission planning environment.
  • Proven track record of working with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, System Test, and Program Management groups.
